$90 per scheduled hour. It is assumed that the first 5-10 minutes will be setup or dealing with technical difficulties and the second 5-10 minutes will be introduction of the material to be covered, especially when the session is for help with a programming project.

1 Hour is currently the minimum session time we will schedule as it allows time for technical difficulties and project introduction.

At this time we do not allow individual sessions to go longer than 2 Hours. We prefer to keep sessions at 1 Hour where possible but understand that sometimes more time is needed. Programming causes a large amount of mental fatigue for the student and lessons longer than 2 hours see an exponential decrease in productivity. We highly recommend that you implement regular rests into your personal and professional programming time as well, such as with the Pomodoro technique.

We do allow scheduling of multiple sessions for the same day. Each such session has a 1 Hour maximum and they must have at least 1.5 Hours between them. This is to reduce mental fatigue and give your brain time to process the information it is gaining. Usually, we do not allow more than 3 sessions to be scheduled in the same day with the same student.

When a session goes beyond the scheduled time, the additional time is charged in 15 minute increments at Last Minute Scheduling rate. Keep in mind that After Hours rate may also apply to sessions that are later in the day. For the first extension, there is a 3 minute grace period before the extensions begin.

Sessions scheduled during business hours on the day before the actual session incur a $10 per hour Last Minute Scheduling cost.

Sessions scheduled after business hours on the day before the actual session or on the same day as the session incur a $20 per hour Same Day Scheduling cost.

Sessions that occur after our regular business hours incur a $10 per hour After Hours cost. Regular business hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:59 PM on Monday through Friday. Sessions scheduled for Saturday or Sunday are always considered After Hours.

Sessions that occur on a holiday or holiday weekend incur a $20 per hour Holiday cost. We celebrate the standard USA holidays and a couple of less common ones. You can get a full refund for sessions cancelled before the Last Minute Scheduling timeframe. Cancellations during or after the Last Minute Scheduling timeframe will be billed for the full price of the session. That said, we are human too, so a full or partial refund may be given for cancellations due to serious circumstances out of your control.

If the student is late to the session, there is no change in timing or price. The instructor will wait up to 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, it will be considered a last minute cancellation. If the instructor is late, the billable time is considered to start when the instructor arrives.
